The BTEC Level 3 in Sports & Coaching is an exciting and comprehensive educational program designed for aspiring sports enthusiasts and future coaches. This qualification offers students a deep dive into the world of sports, covering a wide range of topics, including sports science, coaching techniques, athlete development, and sports management. With a strong emphasis on practical skills and hands-on experience, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world sports environments. What makes this program even more valuable is that it's equivalent to an A-Level, ensuring that students not only gain practical skills but also attain a high level of academic recognition, opening doors to various educational and career pathways in the dynamic and competitive field of sports and coaching. We have flexible entry requirements that permit all motivated students to enrol on the course.

Entry requirements
Higher Level 3
Entry on to the BTEC Level 3 Higher Course (equivalent to 3 A-Levels over 2 years) requires GCSE grades 4-9 in both Maths and English. We do take this on individual merit as we also like to accept students on to our course who have good attendance, are disciplined and well-mannered and have a passion for sport.
Lower Level 3
You will need a grade 1 in GCSE maths and a grade 2 in GCSE English (Equivalent to 2 A-Levels over2 years). Students on this course will have to retake their maths and English GCSE exams.
